You can disagree with me, that's why this board is so great. I just don't like the fact that one's IQ is brought up discussing something that none of us on here have any control over and are just having fun speculating on what could, should, and has to be done.

Do not bother he is all in love with Kelly and is taking on parts of his personality.

Not in love with him at all actually. All things considered, I think Kelly would do very well here. Anything else?

I would assume you know Brian Kelly personally?

Brian Kelly is that you? It is the charm gave it away.

Should we expect a 20 post dissertation on why Kelly isn't a good person, how he can't recruit, and how Tennessee needs to hire Zig Zigler to even have it's head above .500 water?

I like Kelly and I think he would do well here at UT. Personality has worked well for Meyer, Saban, and Carroll.

Sensationalize much?

Not really, just tired of people knocking other people's opinion just because it may differ from others. The message board operates because of those different opinions. I would go as far to say that if everyone shared the same or similar opinion that it would be boring and the amount of posts on a daily basis would be cut in half.

It's water cooler talk. Ever gotten into a heated debate with buddies about sports? Some of the things I call my friends I can't type over here without being banned. They call me worse. I've been called worse by people I don't even know. Who cares?

Debates will happen.

Very true. There are ways of disagreeing with people though without calling them dumb, stupid, or garbage.

I call my friends worse when I disagree with them!!! I personally do not think your are dumb or stupid. Doesn't mean I don't think what you say is garbage sometimes:)

soooo...back to the topic at hand. does the new coach even consider hiring a d2 coach as an offensive coordinator? provided he's not bringing his current coordinators with him, etc.

Hatcher isn't ready for the SEC but He will one day for sure, He's a brilliant coach that just needs a little fine tuning before making the big leap.
Agreed . . . He got marginalized a little bit by his association with Hal Mumme, but all he does everywhere he coaches is win and produce offense. He's going to land back in Division 1 somewhere and be successful.

Hate to bump a thread from yesterday, but it blew my mind a few minutes ago when I was reading a Ga Southern football article in my local paper where it talked about Chris Hatcher's first coaching staff at Valdosta State. His Offensive Coordinator was Mike Leach and his Defensive Coordinator was Will Muschamp.

That's a good coaching tree isn't it? :)

Makes you wonder why those guys got a shot before he did.

Hatcher is a good guy, but he probably suffers from a little bit of a lack of charisma. He's basically Mike Leach without the personality.
