If I remember correctly, that pathetic combo of QB's,(R. Clausen and D. Ainge) couldn't get the ball within 10 yards of Chris his senior Year!

There is something about this post that tells me you are not remembering correctly.

If I were going to defend a guy who obviously took alot plays off and refused to dive for several VERY catchable balls, and throw our current senior QB under the bus while doing it, I'd at least make sure I didn't look like a fan of some other team posting in a UT forum.

He dropped about 85 passes in the 2004 game against Florida. He also tried to catch a sure TD with one hand against USC in 2005. Plays like that keep you off the field.

I normally dont agree with you, but you are 100% right on!!!! Hannon underused himself, noone's fault but his.

i second that govols. my memory was refreshed with the post about the sc catch. i also remember a specific play against uga that would've been a TD (i think you guys have alluded to) that "christy" hannon wouldn't lay out for. his '15 min' came and went with the "almost" comeback at auburn (year escapes me).......

Isn't Hannon the guy who didn't even show up for part of his NFL combine? This is surprising anyone gave him a chance in the NFL. At least he had good coaching his last year, his hands improved a lot.

I thought that was Bret Smith. Hannon's senior season was 2005. There was no improvement that year.

I had freshman orientation with Chris Hannon and Jason Hall... Hannon came in as a quarterback from Fla... seemed like a really nice guy, hopefully he can do better in the pros than he did for us
