what do you think of Chris Brown at
Defensive End for the past 4 years he is fast, agile has a mean streak.i personaly think we would have a top five draft pick
this year on defense.at tight end he has been seldom used
antill last year and mostly this year. he will get drafted but
i dont think on the first day. i hope im wrong he has been
a real good player and sportsman for UT.

and did i say a big man as well. Ofcourse if if & Butts were candy and nuts we would all have a merry Christmas.

I guess my main question we have to look at. are the players being developed and being put in a position where they can
prosper at the next level.

i mean it looks like to me like we have ends that should be playing linebacker we have line backers that should be at safty.

coker will never make it at running back in the nfl but if he had played wideout for 4 years he might have been all sec.
i would think seriously about giving him a shot there starting this week.

Chris Brown is what Corey Anderson should have been. He may be a decent 3rd or 4th round steal at TE.

He's been used a lot this year....I'd take a look at his receptions. Much more used than our TE's in recent history.

That is the system. We recruit players that were successful in high school at one position and beef them up to play closer to the LOS. If you are a high school corner, we usually make you a LB, if you were a LB, we move you to end. If you were an end, we move them to tackle. Tennessee isn't the only school that does this to get speed. That isn't the problem. The prblem is coaching them up while they grow into those positions.

Did you see the differance betweem UT & LSU
when we played them last year.they have speed
on defense and big time size as well.

and UT was in the game until 9sec left. Gotta think it doesn't make a difference

Really small. Considering UT was one of the few schools to offer him a scholarship, I'm sure he's fine with being a TE

Didn't Florida and Auburn offer schollies? I think LSU was in the mix, too. I know he was only two stars, but I'm pretty sure there were other big time schools offering.
