I think they're smart enough to know they can't lean on either one of these guys too heavily next season. They'll have to play a role. Being smart and fundamentally sound will be key.

Understanding limits is a good start.

I recall hearing the same. The difference is that he didn't get hit in practice last year. That's about to change. One thing I'll say about JC, I saw him take some huge hits and pop up ready for more. He may be tougher than we give him credit for.

the issue with Crompton. His issue is making good decisions, completing passes, making first downs--and being a real leader. Crompton strikes me as one of these dudes who's a star in his mind but not on the field--a guy who thinks he's good but is not. Intelligence is very important at the QB position. He's got a fresh start and he'll have to show he's //clearly// better than Coleman and, later, Stephens--or the coaches should go with one of the younger guys, IMO. Crompton is a senior--and if I were Kiffin, I'm not sure I'd want to play him in the hope that things will click for him by the eighth game of this season. We need to get lots better this year, but if the coaches are smart they'll be thinking a lot about next year too.

Lightning striking twice with what Cut did for Ainge and what anyone could hope to do with Crompton is quite hopeful from even the biggest NegaVols.

I admittedly lul'd at OP's post. Kudos.

He also said: "Yes, you could argue that these do in fact qualify as man tits. I am considering purchasing a manziere -- any recommendations on particular brands would be greatly appreciated."

Crompton isnt a Jonathon come lately, he was a highly recruited kid out of HS. He didnt become a retard over night. He has all the potential in the world to succeede. Maybe some coaching up will do the trick. That or being in a system more suited for him.

True, he became a retard at conception.

I hate to break it to you, but a high school quarterback's intelligence is not being evaluated when Rivals or Scout give them four or five stars. Some of these kids aren't bright enough to digest a college playbook and learn to properly read defenses. The fact that Crompton was a 5 star quarterback coming out of high school has NO bearing on his level of intelligence.
