I think, when it comes to MLB drafts, there is an understanding between the players and teams in the first couple of rounds...if you're not wanting to go, you let the MLB teams know. They can't waste a pick on a kid wanting to go to college, so if that kid wants to play MLB someday, he'd better be a straight shooter.Not to be a downer, but having the college option is a nice bargaining chip in contract negotiations is it not?
