Yeah - same thing here in northeast TN. It's been slower than dial-up since I got home from work. Six-plus hours later, nothing's changed and I can't get a hold of an actual person on the phone.
Ok so I'm not the only one having problems. The weird thing is my kids xbox controllers stopped connecting at the same time. Could that be somehow connected to this?

That sounds like a coincidence IMO. Not sure how the connectivity of your controllers could be affected at all by your internet. That or aliens are above your home

Your router shouldnt be causing any issues with your Xbox controller. Xbox controller uses RF for connectivity and the router does not. What type of router are you using? GHz?
