Not quiet... Charlie Ergen is the voice of BIG BOOSTERS, and I mean BIG, that has stood up to the bullying of the Haslams. Every one of us should be grateful for him getting in the middle of this mess. He, and guys like ATLVol, and others, who chip in big money.

If Currie would listen to them, this coach search would have been over by now. Disclaimer: I donate monthly to Mr. Ergen... Dish Network

Ergen can use a roll of toilet paper with hundreds for each ply and never worry about running out for his whole family a lifetime. No I change that.... 1000s and he is a tight ass. I bet he wouldn’t buy a sovereign coke cup and a hotdog at Neyland.

And while that is absolutely true, it is common knowledge that he is tighter than dicks hatband. I'm not so sure he is as involved in this as many have led us to believe.

If I was him I would and I would had Gruden, Petersen , maybe belichick lol with his money.... what’s big deal with 12 million a year for coach for 5 years and let UT pay for staff. 60 million for Ergen would be nothing.

That dude we thought was going to go head to head with Haslam but ended up being a normal booster with lots of money.

Nope, it wouldn't be a drop in the bucket. But this is also the man that packs a brown bag lunch (sandwich and Gatorade) daily, furnishes his office with second hand couches, doesn't fly first class, and up until recently, shared hotel rooms with coworkers when traveling on business. He isn't coming off with 60 million no matter how much he loves UT.
