Changing of the Guards in the SEC

Wow, Volnation. I struggled with this thought for a while and I had to finally come to grips with this after today's SEC games. Can anyone think of the last time that Vandy was ranked in front of UT? Jay Cutler beats us single handled his Sr. year and then UK pretty much kicked out buts last year. This year UK has a hell of a defense and ours is suspect. Is this the year that UK break our win streak against them? UK has not beaten the Vols since 1984 and they hate our orange. I know this because I lived in KY for 6 years and when I wore my orange I got completely mobbed. But I am a Tru Vol. Vandy is in first place in the SEC East. Who would have thunk it..... Although I am proud of Vandy for their accomplishment, I am more disappointed in the Vols performance so far this year. Once the Vols were able to recruit anyone from the country, now we are fighting the likes of schools like MTSU for players. We can remedy everything by winning again. I love my Vols and will always support them and wear my colors with pride but I am tired of continuing to say, "Wait til next year."

I used to live in Radcliff and Ft. Knox, KY. I wore UT orange all the time and constantly rooted against UK in basketball. Most people thought it was ok because they knew I was from just down the road in Nashville, TN. Vandy may beat us, but not UK. They must have some voodoo hex put on them because they can pull out all the tricks and we still always beat them somehow. It's kind of like us against UF.

On average nothing has changed in the sec.

The ebb and flow of the games precludes perception.

Our defense is suspect? I thought we were playing pretty well on that side of the ball.
