Apparently, Am1180 WVLZ, owned by Coach Doug Mathews, no longer carries Swain or Basilios shows.
Basilio has an explanation on his web site for those who care. Tonybasilio.com

I'll be up all day worrying about this.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Hence, my last few words, “for those who care”.
I happen to care about all UT related sports programming.
I can’t lisren to sports animal anymore.
They tow the Haslam line and would have been fine with hiring Schiano and keeping Currie.
Swain, Basilio, and the guys at FoxSportsKnoxville helped lead the revolt against the Haslams.

I know he has a lot of haters but I love TB. Been listening to him since I was at UT in the 90s

This is interesting. Was going to WJBE less expensive than 1180? It seems that 1180 with it's stronger signal would be the obvious choice if the dollars were the same.

We all know that they're paying to be on the radio, right?

Swain is using Basilio's Studio until his gets finished being built. I think they are going all digital streaming.

Exactly... WNML is borderline unlistenable... Josh/Will are probably the only show with any value... I used to like Ainge, but his tirade on SEC Nation last fall against "millenials" in defense of Botch was pure foolishness... I hope Swain gets a good local station that will support him... he and Basilio speak the unfettered truth...

I agree. Stopped listening to Ainge after sec nation thing as well lol that’s why I called this stations liars (Ainge) and idiots (Hyams) . At times Basilio can get on anyone’s nerves but while funny at times Ainge immaturity got old.

I like both their shows. Streaming on 1180 was bad. Thats why they switched radio stations.

If they replaced Heather and Ainge with Swain's show, that would be fantastic... but it will never happen... WNML wants to control the message and personalities so they tow the "state run" line... until Swain finds a broadcast home, I'll continue to support his show and advertisers... likewise with Basilio...

I like Swain but I wish he would re format his show. Too many "segments." Honestly I think he should scale back to 2 hours instead of 3. I don't think 3 hours is necessary for his show. I almost always tune out when he goes into his "for what" segment.

And for God's sake ban turkey man or at least limit him to 1 call per week.
