Now that’s funny right there. Bassilio is guy trying to make a living to support his family. But he’s a joke really. Wish him the best and the 500 listeners he has.

If what you are saying were true, TB would be able to hold down a show on a station.....but its not and he cant.

For radio purposes his content is largely irrevelent because his delivery is annoying.

That's not true. The KNS, VolQuest and 24/7 all reported on it. There was a police report where three witnesses described the situation to police as a suicide attempt. Journalists can't ignore that.

The police report was already a public document, Hyams and the rest of the Knoxville media didn't make it that way.

Its addictive, and good at reeling you in.

Here up north, I just happened to be listening to eagles radio one day and they had Charlie Garner on the show the day after an article was published making it seem like he had CTE so bad he could barely function.

He cleared the air and said it was nowhere near as bad as the article made it out to be. It was like a sigh of relief, and the rest of the segment fascinating.

I've been listening ever since, and its been pretty awful except now and again.

Guess I got hooked, lol.

I really can't wrap my mind why he has as much hate as he does. Very polarizing figure... love/hate with no middle ground if you polled the people.

The media is important. The media in the Birmingham, Alabama market has been a driving force in the rise of the Tide and Tigers over the past decade. After WJOX switched to FM there was an immediate boost to interest in all things Auburn and Alabama and the amount of $$$'s going to those schools. Even though I rarely hear good stuff about Tennessee on there it is entertaining to listen too.

From what I have read this is an area of need in the Eastern Tennessee Market. All I ever get to listen to is the gameday broadcast, and, well, those are very mediocre.

Beano and Swain ought to have a show together and take Ainges time slot. Sick of Ainge constantly talking over the other host.
