He has been calling good games overall but he is such an idiot at times. Gotta run the clock out and you call 3 straight passes? Who does that??? I don't care if they should've scored that's unbelievable. Feel for the players.

Under-rated OP IMHO.

There were about five times in that game we could have iced it with a single, proper SEC drive.

Chaney = X-box hero. Works against Troy (barely). How well did it work in October?

I would of been fuirous if we came out running the ball. Run the clock out with a one poitn lead? Lolz. We needed to score before thinking about running the clock with our D.

The Vols break an all time total offense record. ....score 55....and win the game and you dung heaps come here and bash the OC.....you guys make Forest Gump look like Stephen Hawking

The offense had opportunies in October (and September) to win games in the fourth quarter.

And never did. And never came close.

The defense is the worst ever at TN. BUT a better OC would have STILL have won more games regardless.

The thing about our bad defense is that when we have the other team like 3rd & 17 you just know that the other team will make a first down. I have no more finger nails to chew on after this game.

Are you seriously suggesting the defenses in the 1990s were worse than this one?

This defense is more confused than me trying to figure out why all the MILFs love The Twilight Saga.

They couldn't cover our receivers. Period. Not sure how exploiting that makes Cheney idiotic. If Bray was on target more and our receivers could catch we'd be setting astronomical records.

Not many DBs in the country can cover our WRs the whole game. It's just a shame that the offensive talent we have is being wasted this year by such a piss poor defense and a few sorry a$$ coaches.

Yeah, I'm questioning. This is a really good offense, but it's not even the best Tennessee defense of the decade much less the 1990s.

I will say, C Patt is the most exciting player we've had since Chuck Webb though.

And like Chuck, we won't see nearly enough of them in orange.

CP , not sure most on here are bashing the O output . There were several chances to ice this game late with long drives. It really makes no sense when we have a running game. We all know the defense sucks ...so why not help them out on the offensive side of the ball by keeping the D off the field?

We should have pretended that we were Bama and that Troy was UT ...see how ball control worked then ?
