Yes. He said he got this info about chaney’s contract directly from the UGA athletic department.

Unless they quietly extended it - here's the contract from older article - lots of coaches got raises after 2017 season, but there was no mention of new contract.

For what it's worth, I always liked Chaney, and think he did a nice job here, and just about everywhere he's been. Think he does a good job of tailoring his offenses to his talent (Drew B @ Purdue, Bray + WR's @ UT, Run game at UGA, etc). Heard someone on radio say he'd like to retire in E. TN...but we've heard just about everything in the past month...so, who knows.

It would be incredibly impressive if he swung and missed on this one. Being tied to the university, I'd assume he may known what he's talking about. Again, I could be wrong. I've been hearing a lot of smoke about it from other places! That's why I posted it! GBO

Chaney is signed thru 2021. All coaches that received raises last year after the NC received extensions on their contracts.
