Chaney and the O-line.

Calling it now, the line will be better this year, BUT not better enough for Friend to keep his job. Chaney talks CJP into bring Pitman over as CO-OC. THEN, there can be no arguement, we will have the best coaching staff in the country!!!!!

So Friend has trouble focusing on 5 players in practice or his 3 kids on vacation??

That explains a helluva lot.

This year will tell if Friend is as good as Pruitt thought. But it seems like Chaney has been working a lot with the OL. Now why is that?
Coming into the season it's the biggest and most important problem to fix. Having a seasoned guy that is going to be coordnating and calling the plays shouldnt be looked at as a bad thing in and of itself.

That's not an endorsement for Friend but it's not like Chaney is leaving a position group uncoached to go work with the OL.
