Chances of the Bama game being a 7:30 kick off?

OK, Cambridge dictionary

demographic

/ˌdem·əˈɡræf·ɪk, ˌdi·mə-/

relating to human populations and the information collected about them, such as their SIZE, growth, ages, and education:

For example, your are a TV programming executive:

Would you rather have an audience of 10% of the Texas Market?

20% of the Georgia market

40% of the Tennessee market

50% of the Alabama market
Fair enough. That was not a polite way to approach by me.

I’d rather have the TN market. Go Vols! 😁

If taking 20% of Texas was realistic that would be ideal. I have no idea about what percent of their population even follows college football. However, Texas has many more big brand college programs than Alabama or TN. They’re filling seats at A&M, Houston, TCU, Baylor, TTU.. I think TN and Texas are probably similar in fanbase size. They just have more oil money than the Vols.

I feel like I know less about Georgia than anywhere. Isn’t Atlanta mostly transplants who owe no allegiance to the Bulldogs? Same could be said for Austin or Nashville with their respective fan bases.

Good points. No problem we will just agree to disagree on whether size of a sample is a demographic or not. I think I made a D- in Statistics about 50 years ago.:)

I lived in Atlanta for 25 years so I know a little about their market. I don't know about all 32 NFL teams but I would imagine the Falcons are the only franchise that is about 5th or 6th in fan interest in their market behind UGA, Auburn, UT, Alabama, Florida maybe FSU.

OTOH different situation in Texas where the Cowboys are the most valuable franchise in the country and maybe the world. Dont know much about the Texans but don't imagine Rice and Houston have much of a following. We have a Longhorn fan we volunteer at the hospital with and he says Austin looks like Hong Kong now. But still when you have 31 million people the pie can be sliced up many ways.

We go to Nashville frequently as my wifes son and daughter live there. Lot of transplants as you say but a hell of a lot of Vol fans there, especially in the last 2 years. Poor old Vandy is actually renovating their stadium. The whole end zone is shut down this year.

Anyway it will be interesting to check the ratings of UT-Tide and UT-UGA.

My son has a football game at noon west of ATL. We would never make a 3:30 kick off. Does CBS still have dibs on the game of their choosing for that 3:30 eastern time slot?
You are going to have to root for Georgia and Texas to lose before that game or at least one of them

I’ve got a buddy in Japan who’s a Vol fan and it’s the exact opposite for him, lol. Afternoon games are the wee hours for him, while late games he can watch over Sunday breakfast.
When I was in Japan I requested night shift so I could watch all the CFB games in peace. Unfortunately, those were the Dooley years...

With UGA going down and Bama now being 1 or 2, and us being #4, are we still n good shape for a 7:30 kick off vs 3:30?
