Does anybody have a legit status update on Chance Hall? He's been injury-plagued during much of his career, and I believe he sat out the entire spring due to a knee surgery. Hopefully I haven't missed a recent thread.. Apologies to the mods if so..

I did find a recent article on the Tennessean that mentioned him, but it didn't really say if he's back 100% or available for the start of fall camp. Also, on the EA radio show this morning, they were discussing the OL and his name didn't even come up. Just thought that was a little odd, since he's been a solid contributor when healthy and could very well earn a starting spot.

Anything you get from Hall is a bonus. I’d love to know the story about his delayed surgery, but wouldn’t be surprised it has something to do with why Pruitt fired the surgeons.

So just:
What are the chances?
Is there a good chance?
So, are you saying there’s a chance?

Since his knees are shot, they are gonna move him to CB. Rumor has it that he is a step faster than last years CBs.

Last I heard, he just barely missed Spring Practice by a week or two of healing.

I have read where he may need to go to Guard if he isn't fully recovered. I sure hope he gets back to the level he was against Alabama in 2015. He played a heck of a game against a solid and deep DL.

I "Hurd" he was moving to TE as he was too big to play corner.

According to JP at SEC media days pretty much all the guys were good to go for fall camp.

Maybe cornbread healing!

Per Pruitt at today's press conference:

He's released to practice.
Will limit his reps since he has not played football in a year.
It would not be smart for us to make him take every rep at practice.
They have a training plan for him.
"He's itching to get going"

to add to your post:

“Unlike some of these guys," Pruitt said, "a Chance Hall who’s not participating because he hasn’t been cleared to practice yet, so for Chance, you have a guy that has not done all the running, not done all the lifting. Trey’s not in that boat.
