Tennessee interviewed SMU coach Chad Morris Tuesday night in Dallas. Morris was a long time successful high school coach in Texas who was an assistant at Tulsa and Clemson before taking over at SMU. The Mustangs were 7-5 this season

Bruce Feldman said he wasn't going to be interviewed. I trust him over Hyams. Remember, Feldman broke the Butch Jones fired story

If true then this is Curries guy. Never had intentions of actually hiring Gundy.

Which also explains why they made Gundy go to Dallas instead of Currie to him in Stillwater. Also explains the frustration in the photos of Gundy on the phone at the hotel in Dallas. I would bet any amount of money that there never was a face to face with Currie.

Currie is going after Morris just like he was with Schiano from the get go.

Disgusting what he’s doing.

Feldman said he despite reports he wasn't going to be interviewed TODAY.

"Contrary to reports, SMU coach Chad Morris is not expected to interview tomorrow with Tennessee"

"SMU’s Chad Morris decides he is not interested after all for the Tennessee job. He was scheduled for an interview today.

Tennessee has now had 4 coaches turn down the possibility of becoming the next head coach."

Successful offensive coordinator at Clemson - good recruiter - better year every year at dumpster fire SMU. Hire the man and give him the money to hire a good DC.

Gundy was in Dallas to RECRUIT...they met him there. He turned down 7 mil a year! Hell of a diversion.
