People will trick themselves into thinking put up a decebt fight. But remember, Janes Franklin is terrible against top 10 teams. He was 3-17 entering this match. History says Penn state should lose this this match 82% of the time. Yet Boise found a way to still lose. And they had a Heisman runner-up on their team.

Boise State was outmatched all over the field. They played tough. Penn St should have won by much more IMO.

Penn State didn't exactly wow me on performance. Play a good defense they'll struggle to break 20. Especially if they don't get any turnovers.

I saw that this game was on, but completely forgot that Boise State was a playoff team and didn't end up watching any, thinking it was a meh bowl game. Whoops. Going to haf to get used to G5 teams being in the playoffs.

Eh screw the wokeness. When I lived in Bend, Oregon fans were the absolute best to me. For some reason Tennessee is like their SEC team or something. They gotta lotta love for the Vols oddly enough

Yeah, so true! Our neighbor ran distance for the Ducks and owns a running store here in Nashville. He loves the Vols and says they’re his “other” team. He’s been like that for years….since he moved here.

Boise State had their chances to score - honestly it was Boise State stopping themselves more than Penn State stopping them especially in the second half.

Useless observation: Boise State's QB was under center more than I've seen in a very long time. FWIW.
