Forgive me if something of this nature has already been posted and I know that some of you dont give a crap about CFN, I did want to point out this as something I believe that got completely wrong. The OL was I think #24, the DBs got #4, and the WRs & TEs at #41. THat all seemed fair and probably about right. But this is the screw up.
UTs RBs: #49. I beleive this is way off. Now do I think they are one of the best in cfb? No. But I think they will be pretty good. I know most of these guys are unproven and that Hardesty has yet to stay healthy and be the main guy, but when its all said and done I beleive they will be one of the better groups (I know the OL helps out). Now I cant say they are better than so-n-so ahead of them but #49 is just way too low to me. (Note Bama is #19 and UGA is #7, which I believe UGA is too high).

we have Hardesty and that's all they can grade us on. Pretty fair rank based on that

Do they also consider QB play as part of the offensive backfield?

Lennon Creer is really making his presence felt in fall camp. I wouldn't be selling this guy short just yet...

Let me make myself creer. Greatness may be ahead for B.B and Oku, maybe even Hardesty(which I doubt). But until they prove it on the field. #49 sounds like a reasonable asessment. Here's hoping they do and open next year #1.:eek:k:

Well I was wondering if they included the freshmen but seriously, who does UGA have? King and Samuel. We have Hardesty and Poole. Is there that big a difference? I heard King isnt doing so hot. I dont think they have a better group of backs than Bama. If they are just talking about returning players I can understand.

Yes, on the scrimmage thread, Vol n Il fessed up that he was confusing Creer and Poole.

Inside joke I think, going back to a Tony Barnhardt article from last week where Barnhardt commented on Creer - yes, thats "Mr SEC" showing himself to be thoroughly in the know.

Its all about respect. We'll get it when we earn it.

as loaded as it seems like UT is at rb (talent wise), there is only one guy back there that has taken meaningful snaps in games. There is a lot of potential, but right now it is what it is

I think you still have to take talent wise a little bit.

2 of our 4 RBs are freshmen. i dont care how highly rated they are, they have yet to prove anything. this ranking is fair IMO until they prove otherwise.

that said, i think they will be valuable contributers with Hardesty and Poole.

I really dont care what anybody ranks any person on the team. They can all be ranked 119th for all I care. When the the team starts to play other teams, thats when it all comes out and we really get to see what the Vols are made of!
