8-4 is what I'm predicting.

Sept. 5 Western Kentucky W
Sept. 12 UCLA W
Sept. 19 at Florida L
Sept. 26 Ohio W
Oct. 3 Auburn W
Oct. 10 Georgia L
Oct. 17 OPEN DATE
Oct. 24 at Alabama L
Oct. 31 South Carolina W
Nov. 7 Memphis W
Nov. 14 at Ole Miss L
Nov. 21 Vanderbilt W
Nov. 28 at Kentucky W

And I don't see how the "worst case scenario record" is 6-6 when they did worse than that last year...

If they went 6-6 next year, I wouldn't be too worried. I'd just think that they need a little more time to clean up Fulmer's mess. They better be a 10-2 or 11-1 team by 2011 though. Those are my expectations, and I'm sure they, the coaches and Hamilton, feel the same way.

I predicted 8 wins as well. I would be happy with that, as long as we don't get completely blown out in the 4 games we lose.

8-4 will be ok with me. I think we win one we shouldn't and lose one we shouldn't.

I would say 8-4 is about right. If Crompton figures Kiffin's offense out then 9 or 10 wins are there for the taking.

Its hard for me to LOCK Georgia and Bama as sure loses , when the both have new QB's and Bama graduated their offensive line .

Yeah the Vols have no proven QB , but their defense was really good , and I think between Kiffin and Chaney they can put a moderately productive O on the field to compliment the D .

Florida should win at home , Ol Miss could be a toss up but I can buy into a L there because they looked really good last season .

8 wins is acceptable 9 wins would be good but i am hoping to pull at least one major upset and break into the double digits in the w category, georgia will be winnable and i am not totally convinced of ole miss yet...but i also think the vols will win every game they play every year so i'm probably not the best person to ask for an objective answer.

and not that anybody has mentioned it ...but I think the Ol' Ball Coach loses his Mojo against UT in the absence of Phil

i still think 6-6 at the low end or 7-5 will be good, anything better than that will be great, same news as last year on the QBs,a new defense being installed, theres a lot to be seen yet,as we have not seen the new staff play a game yet,

but of course i do think like voltilifall in that

6 wins would techincally be an IMPROVEMENT

I say we get 8, counting a bowl win.

right....his mojo? cause you know, south carolina sure was dominating that series and all....beating us the 2 times we had terrible teams and 5-win seasons

8 wins sounds good, but if we keep cutting starters and the qb play doesn't get better I would hang my hat on 6 or 7
