CFB Title Odds

I know there have been some posts about odds of making the playoffs floating around, but I haven't seen a post about championship odds. It doesn't meany anything, but I thought it was interesting to consider. During the lean years, most of us just wanted to be in the hunt in November and we are.

How bad is it that Vandy has higher odds than us?

The only reason we have 1 more loss than them is because we played UGA and they did not.

I know reality is tough.
Seriously man, why watch. It’s not going to get better for you. We won. We have a chance to win 10. If you can’t take some enjoyment out of that then why do you watch? To yell at the tv? To post trash on the board? I don’t get it.

I agree, but I don’t think it’s that big a deal. You guys get Vandy in Knoxville. Hopefully they win out until then and you guys have an opportunity to make a statement!

It’s not a bad thing IMO, but it’s certainly odd to think of Vandy as a good team. Many here don’t agree, but I think the Vols control their own destiny. Win out and you’re in.

If there hadn’t been a mess up at the end of the GA game you guys would be sitting pretty, but shite happens. It was a very good and close game that could have went either way but for a number of plays. Bad luck on the missed winning FG, but that’s just CFB. You don’t always win when you deserve to. I thought both TN and GA played a very good game, we just had the luck in the end!

GT at 75/1 seems really low for a team that is undefeated and has a playmaker like Haynes King. Of course the caveat is that they probably aren't even a .500 team without King, but he's been pretty unstoppable thus far. God help us if we actually make the playoffs and have to face them at any point. He'll put up 500 yards of offense on this defense.
Maybe they would but we would put up about 600 on their defense. Joey has accounted for 300 more total yards than Haynes King against better competition.
