at my wedding with an amazing Groom's cake. I know this is silly but I live in Kansas and I try to spread the gospel of tennessee Football wherever I can. So I will have a cubed Chocolate cake with orange and White checkered truffles on top with Power T's on each side and a tennessee Football Helmet beside it. Any other ideas? Should I add anything?

Gratz!!!!

My gooms cake was a power T!!!! I live in KY so it went over well.

We got married on the 3rd Saturday in October. 10/23/04

Nice.

I was married in LSU country but I had a grooms cake that was shaped like the state of Tennessee with a big orange power T in the middle. It helped that I was married in the VOLS hey day ('99)... and LSU sucked back then so I didn't really catch any grief.

One of my groomsmen sang rocky top too... good times.

I am the groom on the left...the guy on the right is my brother (best man)...that was in ireland in a little town called annascaul. i am also going there for the honeymoon...

mine wasn't quite as involved as yours but I was allowed a power T cake

Oh...and lawgator...what are you trying to over compensate for with all of your avatars? Is it collection of women you have no chance with? Or, are you simply mid-life crisis right now?

Wow I wish I could've had a power T cake for my wedding however I was married in Lima Peru and they have absolutely no clue what Tennessee is all about haha!!...I try to teach them but they just look at me and politely nod like they understand when I KNOW they haven't any idea...Hehe....Good luck with your wedding and you MUST post photo's of the festive occasion :)

I hate to burst your bubble, but that would have been the 4th Saturday. The third Saturday would have been the 16th.

If you were implying that you got married the day of the Alabama game, then your vol card has been revoked.

At our reception in San Diego, my wedding party was announced to Down the Field and then my wife and I walked in to Rocky Top. The evening was topped off with a clod hopping Osborn Bros version. Man the So Calers thought we were nuts.

Wow I cant believe we are talking wedding cakes, anyways my grooms cake was a square chocolate cake with a power T in the middle. Also, instead of the traditional song they play after you are married and you are walking down the isle leaving ,we walked out to Rocky Top. :rock:
