2023 NFL Mock Draft: Quarterbacks Headline the Top Five

This mock has Tillman going 7th to the Jags... and I'll be honest I'm quite shocked to see him above guys like Boutte (LSU), JSN (OSU), and Addison (USC). I don't see this happening but could he be a 1st round pick next year?

Also I just don't see the NFL hype that Levis gets. A GM should be fired if they were to select him ahead of Stroud or Bryce Young imo.

Tillman has the potential to be a first round pick. He has the size, physicality, and athleticism for sure. We have seen what he can do last year. If he has a similar or better year, he could absolutely go in the first round.

If he runs a good 40 time then he could go that high. I would bet he needs to run a 4.6 or better, and he might be able to do that. He's got all the other tools you would ever want in a WR.

The 40 time is all that seems to matter. That, and the vertical, bench, and squat. They should just ask everyone to do these three things, and save everyone a lot of time, money, and self respect.

Keep in mind Tillman has done it against better competition outside of Boutte who plays in the same conference

I can see what they’re saying about Levis physically, he’s bigger and stronger by far than Stroud or Young, and has comparable athleticism to Young despite being a bigger guy. He just doesn’t seem to me to have it between the ears like Stroud, Young, or Hendo Cinco for that matter, but I guess they figure that can be coached. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Yeah but I don't think that matters much to NFL GMs. Last year the Big 10 had the most (3) WRs taken in the 1st round and two of them were from JSN's team, and some are saying that he was the best WR on that team.

15 receptions 347 yards and 3 TDs vs Utah in the Rose Bowl was just insane.

60 receptions 958 and 6 TDs his last 5 games was super impressive.

Tillman and McCoy both poses a frame and skill set that are valuable to an NFL team. Over 6 2” and over 215 with good hands is a magic formula. Larry Fitzgerald was those specs and never ran under 4.6. Being able to shield most corners on a 50/50 ball is still a big deal. Tillman will get a hard look in the first round.

I was sort of being sarcastic, referring to the talking heads analysis during the combine coverage. I honestly don’t think a lot of the measurables matter to the teams themselves. They have a good idea as to who can play or not.

Tillman reminds me of Allen Robinson in a way. Similar height/weight and play style.

Probably 3rd rounder.
Think back to Josh Palmer and his athletic ability comparative. Also the double value of Velus Jones yet he was a 3rd rounder. He'll have an NFL career which what ultimately matters

Tillman is a good player with natural football skills. I don't think he will test like a 1st round talent. I could be wrong...

Bru McCoy is the 1st rounder imo. He's as big as Tillman but runs like Velus Jones. 🧡!
He's actually very fast and quick at 6'2 220
