Just started the 2nd quarter and the game has been on for an hour. What is up with so many commercials? When does the contract with CBS and the SEC end? Or does it ever end?

I like when TN football is on for a long time tbh

4-5 hours is too long for a football game. I love watching the Vols, but Saturdays are important for most working people. It isn't something that should be taking up half the day.

The A&M game started at 2:30 central last week and didn't end until nearly 7:30. Even for a 2OT game that is ridiculous.

CBS either needs to slow its roll with the commercials or college football needs to change its rule regarding clock stoppages after every single first down. For as many faults as the NFL has, I like how they can squeeze a 60 minute game into 3 or 3.5 hours.

Being in the stadium stinks because everytime someone stops then here comes the guy in red running out and you just sit here. How many time can cbs tell you how good they are. Newsflash a tv show has to be on longer than a week to be the number 1 show.

Don't know what you're implying, but I'm a working person 48 hrs a week and every other week I work on Saturdays. So it is important but I enjoy Vols football. This is what i wany to spend 12 Saturdays a year doing.

If you really hate it yhen Buy the advertising time up and we won't have to worry about it. Although do the SEC teams get some of the revenue? So we are benefitting as well.
