A writer at CBS sports.com released his top 200 rankings for the 2026 draft. He has 5 Vols listed.
9: McCoy
37: Hood
62: Brazzell
73: Josephs
152: Carter
I'm not sure he has a clue to what he is talking about since Carter is already back in school and not entering the draft.

Hot take: Hood will be a better pro than Mccoy.
I thought McCoy should have returned during the season. But this CB class is pretty shallow. It makes sense that he sat out.

Hopefully he's healed up good. Would like to see him put on a show at the combine

McCoy at #9 and he didn't play the season? My Lord, had he played, he'd be the #1 pick in the Draft at that rate.

Was cleared and didn’t play. Not going to hate on him, but definitely makes me not as interested in his performance going forward.
You think about Peyton fighting to get ready for the Nebraska game with that knee injury.

Justin Hunter fighting to return for his jr season and ultimately put on a show with CP. Also Darrick Roger’s coming on strong after Hunters injury.

Those are things that make you remember Tennessee football.

McCoy coming back could have been the difference in the OU game. Maybe we do mess around and somehow make the playoffs and then he gets healthier, and Perlotte gets better each game. Dline gets healthier. And then E Davis might of continued to eat at TE. Who’s knows what happens! But he didn’t…and I understand you not caring.

I want him to do well so that he reps Tennessee.
