Brandon Tierney did a CBS Sports minute on 104.5 the zone ripping Vol fans to shreds over the Schiano deal. I don’t do twitter but just putting it out there in case folk might be inclined to light his azz up on Twitter. I will add that the zone crew had our back after the break.

I just heard that on 104.5 the zone, and it really pisses me off how uninformed the National media is.

Media is disconnected anyway. Most every other fan base has said what am incredibly brave thing it was and they wished their fan base had something like this to solidify them. The national media is far removed from the fan.

I also heard a sports minute where John Feinstein ripped the Vegas police over the Michael Bennett deal. Shame on feinstein.

In this world you can berate and scream and decry anything and everything with no ramnifications for being uninformed and hyper critical...and ultimately 100% WRONG. I don't know who Brandon Tierny is and I imagine that's unlikely to change.

tl/dr = F this Tierney dude and the horse that rode in on him

If this happens at Florida they would commend them for standing up for what’s right but Tennessee? They will trash us. It’s is and always been us vs everyone else.

If we had that kind of media around in the 1700s, we'd probably still be saluting the Union Jack. How dare the peasants voice their disagreement with an autocrat whether Currie or George.

Except for the Penn State fans. Yes, I’m not kidding. Many of them apparently didn’t want any attention brought back to that dark period in their history. If any program should have gotten the “death penalty,” It was Penn State after the Sandusky scandal.

The last independently thinking journalist in the wild was sighted in a Journalist Perserve in Western Manitoba in 1957. He was supposedly writing a story onbtje Foreign Policy of Dwight Eisenhower. No other independently thinking journalists have been spotted since. There was an unconfirmed report of an indepentently thinking movie critic in Japan in 1974 but there is no corroborating evidence. As such, the independently thinking journalist was declared extinct in 1991.

Who cares what some tool in the media says? Fans stood up to Administration malpractice and stopped another bad hire being shoved down out throats. VolNation should be proud.

It was on 99.1 here in Knoxville as well.....it was scathing....I was glad to see you posted it because I was wondering who it was. I am now going to go send him a pm on twitter. That was ridiculous and it was apparent he is a huge OSU fan.
