CBS says play-in games an insult

It seems to me there is a lot of hate in here for coach Martin. It seems that every thread started, no matter the subject, ends back to how bad a coach he is. I don't get it.

Is it really that much different than CFB? 6 and 6 gets you in and with nearly 30 plus bowl games, nearly half of all teams get to go bowling. Follow the money and you will find the absurdity....

I think the selection system/criterion needs to be updated. 13-19 is a joke.

I would rather have a 13-19 team that won there conference tournament then a 17-13 team that finished 6th in their conference!

I've never understood why there's no 1AA classification for basketball.

Because if there was, there would be separate tournaments, and no Cinderella's in this one. Suppose to be good for television.:glare:

The Tournament is the best time of year for all of basketball, IMO. Every year some teams get left out while some teams get in that probably don't belong. It's probably always going to be that way. I prefer to sit back and watch some really good basketball games. Anyway Go Vols.
