hmmm... ESPN must have already grabbed the USC/UGA game the week before. Seems awfully late to start the television season, but there are no conference games in Week 1...

Verne and Gary...

Verne - "Well Gary, that Tebow's a special kind of guy."

Gary - "Oh and look Verne, he's preforming free circumcisions in the stands at halftime."

Verne - "Yeah Gary, that's a real heart-warming story right there."

Anybody remember Auburn in '85? A similar situation (albeit on the road) would be so awesome I would wet myself.

If we had him in Knoxville our love fest would have surpassed Peyton's by now...so I can't really complain. The last 2 years we have predicted one of the VOLS smashing Tebow...so far he has been the one doing the smashing. I for one will be glad to see him depart Gainesville. GO VOLS

When is the last time the UT UF game wasn't on CBS? Isn't it usually the 3:30 game every year?

What time is the UT-UF game? I'm hoping for an 8PM, prime time telecast, to have more time to party all day in G'ville and get really good and liquored up for the upset!!!

This could be one of the highest rated football games in NCAA history...EVERYBODY want's to see how this one is going to turn out.

UF's overconfidence could be their undoing. UT has nothing to lose in this game. UF has EVERYTHING.

As far as I can remember, yes it has always been the 3:30 game on CBS and I don't expect it will be any different this year. I don't think CBS does a primetime game (could be mistaken though). Usually those games are on other networks of the ESPN family.

Well, the whole country will be watching. Gators will be fired up and as much as I want to kick thier azz, it could get ugly!

Our best chance is our defense and with Monte already watching film along with Lance Thompson (Ala had a great game plan against them btw), Coach O, we will have some excitment there. :clapping: But then there is crompton...... :ermm:

Didn't UT beat UF at night in 2004 in Knoxville, when UF was whining about "bad calls?"
