CBS gave a score update on Duke and just had to throw in "When was the last time Tennessee had an offense without Cutclife?"

All day long folks have taken a shot at Tennessee on National TV.

This folks is Embarrassing....:mf_surrender:

Heard that too. But, he has a great point. It's not so much throwing shots, just stating the obvious

They can keep it coming. Any poor publicity is to our (anti-fulmer) benefit.

Brando has never liked UT,but it is an obvious question. Duke has no problems on offense while TN obviously does.

I do not think it is piling on anymore, it is more of a revelation. Now people are not afraid to question Fulmer, or point out the obvious. Phil needs to walk away with some respect from the Vol fan base. After 30 years, it is doubtful he will go coach Richmond or some lower tier program. It is highly doubtful a powerhouse program will want him. UT is all he has got, dedicated his life and had a good run in the 90's that bought in some years of goodwill. That goodwill has run it's course.

Brando is an LSU homer and he shows it. When he hears LSU Tigers he gets a tingling feeling up his leg.

Fixed it for you.

no need since it is a stupid question. How long was Cut here? CPF did well as an OC before him and then we had Sanders who was never truly in it. There's very few, if any, OC's that could make our current QB's/OL competitive.

For all the arguments that talent made CPF look better than he really is, the same could (and should) be said of Cut.

CBS doesnt hate us. They gave us 3 games this year. No one hates us. they are just tired of us being terrible. As far as Fulmer. He has a top 5 class comeing in. I mean can we really be THAT pissed at him. He does has more NC's than ALOT of coaches out there. I mean mane the ones who have more, Pete from USC, maybe thats about it. I am from KT and i LOVE the vols and have to hear the crap everyday. There are about 96% of all programs that want what we have. Just me. GO VOLS!!!!!

thats speaking the truth.

I hate when people think ESPN, CBS, etc. hold a special grudge against their team...very silly.

I don't believe that for a minute.

What makes it a stupid question?.............the fact that you don't like the answer?

What constitutes a stupid question?

I think the answer (quite a while) is clear for all to see.

the answer is very easy- when CPF was OC. The fact Cut is getting all this credit is baffling to me. Great, he's better than Randy Sanders. He should get a trophy or something

In hindsight, I don't really think Cutcliffe was the problem. And CBS's remark has some truth....our LAST season without Cut was the 5-6 fiasco, and he comes back for 2 years and we have pretty decent seasons, going to the SECC game, laying the wood to Georgia, and SHOULD have beaten FL in 06'. Now, he's gone again, and look what happens.

Also, he has had success everywhere he goes. At Ol' Miss, he owned Florida. And he has been successful at Duke. Granted, his record at Duke would be unsatisfactory anywhere else, but at Duke, it is phenomenal.....more wins than in the last 5 seasons combined.

Any chance he might be brought back as the Head Coach?

I gave you the answer in my post -- Quite a while.
