That was terrible, what a fool (the writer). The only thing I could get out of it was something about ribs.

There is no such thing as a moral victory in football. But..it is easy to argue that these low expectations from the national media take a lot of pressure off of Kiffin.

Agreed. UT comes out looking good after the UF game if TN is within 14 points. Has UT ever been a 30 or more point dog ever?

I find it funny how he uses the analogy of the dumb girl who didn't know what a slab of ribs are. Isn't that like the pot calling the kettle black? He doesn't know what journalism is.

I think the writer is just taking a swipe at Clay Travis, the gentleman who held this post before him. At the same time, it will ignite the anger of a lot of UT fans, but I really think this guy is doing his best to make a name for himself.

Funny article, and it would have been funnier if it wasn't about UT. Reminds me of the Lee Corso commercial from a few years ago. I want to see this guy when we lose by 10 or even 20 instead of 37. Only then will we find the true humor of this article, unless we lose by 37+.

Really didn't have a problem with it. I thought it was funny.
To me he makes a good point of how ridiculous the expectations are for the game on Sept 19. Gators are loaded Vols are rebuilding, UT has no chance.

This is great. Just keep turning out these articles media slugs. As long as UT is the main character it is fine by me. I have said it before and will say it again, for all the haters this is there last chance to take shots at UT because it is clear the sleeping giant has waken.

That's why they play the games.

You really think we have a shot?

I shouldn't say we, I don't play. So you really think the Vols have a shot?

I can see why he got a job in Orlando. The newspaper here isn't even worth using for a bird cage. Bad writing all around to include sports. And that's not just from a Vols perspective. It's just plain bad.
