Great interview. Kim will succeed at High Level looking forward to watching her Mature each year as Lady Vol Coach. She understands one important thing Hard Work tireless days but eventually Wins 🏆 the Day. Pat had this in Spades and that is why she was the Best Ever. In CHRIST Alone

She's different from the picture I have of Pat, but I see a lot of Pat in her. This is the first LV coach since Pat that I have "liked."
I predict that we are going to be more than happy ... we are going to be ecstatic with the product she puts on the floor.
I'm beginning to wonder if the first Lady Vol home game might become a sellout, the anticipation is growing so.

Thanks for posting this wonderful interview....Kim is one hell of a motivated coach....She comes across, as the kind of coach if I was a girl, that I would want to play for...

Based on the recent commit of the twins, I'm not the only person that feels that way...Pat has got to smiling.

That says more about you than the previous 2 coaches. Although not great coaches , both were LVFL's.

I am willing to acknowledge they are both LVFL. They both earned it!
I have done quite a few interviews over the years. Does not make me an expert. I reserve judgement until, I hear them talk ... I listen to what they say and what they don't say.
Some players can become coaches. But just because you played the game does not make you a guaranteed ... excellent coach.
You can be a jerk and also be a good coach (Geno). You can be a nice person and be a mediocre coach(Lots of those).
Coaching philosophy is more of an art form. (Jimmie Johnson, John Wooden, Pat Summitt, Phil Jackson) Your nature must be acceptable to the team. You build that culture via your leadership style and skills. (Saban)
Neither Holly nor Kellie were mediocre coaches. If fact, my guess is that Kellie takes another coaching job in the future.
Holly did not inspire me ... I am glad she got the chance to coach after all the time she put in under Pat. Frankly, she was following a legend ... never a best case scenario. But I would have preferred her to have shown that she could head coach somewhere and then bring her back. Not too many lifelong assistants make good head coaches. I acknowledge that there would have been outrage if she had not been given the opportunity to succeed Pat at TN.
I was hopeful that Kellie would get it done, but our AD, at the time, was not the best judge of character of coaches (yes that is 20-20 hindsight).
Kellie sounded more like someone in sales. You hope what your buying is as good as the pitch you hear. I really like her as a person!
I think she still has the potential to be a good coach. (She has a few things to figure out. Accountability model?!?) It's a hard knock life!
Holistically, obviously in my opinion, what I have heard from Kim is much more straight out of the horses mouth. She is not selling. She is just telling it the way it is and the way it is going to be. She is going fast and furiously ... somewhere.
Accountability wise, she is going to be very much like Pat. It was Pat's way or the highway...Kim looks like she came out of that mold.
Will her style of play work in the SEC, I have no idea, but I sure she is going to live and die with it ... in that regard, she reminds of Josh.
Go Kim Caldwell!!! Go Lady Vols!!!

Nobody's reading all that crap. You showed no respect for them as LVFL with your comment.
