Big game for both teams...both need a win in a big way. don't want to push the panic button for either team, but playoff chances could be riding on this game.

word is that Romo will start. i'm on the fence if this is a good or bad thing for Carolina. on the one hand, it will be his first start in the NFL...on the road to boot. Carolina's front four can be imposing, esp. #90. ON the other hand, our D is really overrated. the secondary is beatable, the LB's aren't all that great...either way, this D may be OK, but it is far from the unit that got all the hype going in to the season. and Romo does have some mobility which if you saw the Atlanta game, a little mobility can go along way against this d. If Bledsoe were starting, i'd say we sack him at least 5 times and get a couple of picks along the way. with Romo, we may get the picks just from his being young...but the pressure may not be there like we'd want.

i know this...5-3 going in to the half way point sounds a lot better than 4-4.

And i'll be there Sunday night...B of A will be great....it always is when the cowboys come to town...though half the stadium will be cowboy fans..ugh.

Go panthers.

Nice post. Go Cowboys.

But with the Panthers front four, we wouldn't stand a chance with Bledsoe. If he starts, Cowboys lose. Without question. Romo will have a tough go starting, but there is a chance with him.

Steve Smith will probably shred our pass D, if it doesn't show up.

We'll see how it goes... I don't feel good about it.

the cowboys own the panthers in the reg. season...we own them in the playoffs...weird.

the only guy that scares me in the secondary is R. Williams...but he's not the best cover safety i've seen...but he can lay the wood. Smith or Key going over the middle and Jake hangs one on 'em....ouch.

and our secondary against your two WR's....please. we have underperformed in the defensive backfeild all year. If we don't get pressue on who ever is throwing the ball....Dallas could pick us apart.

Plus, we, supposedly a running physical team offensively, have proven to be the exact opposite...our pass to run ratio is like 2:1...and we have no idea how to put a game away all the sudden. 3rd down conversions on offense...we're i think dead last in the league.

i'd say Dallas has an excellent chance....just as i think the Panthers have an excellent chance...

this really should be a good game...it may be ugly, but it should be at least close.

Roy Williams can put down a hit, but his coverage is inconsistent. The rest of the secondary gets burned quite a bit.

As far as your secondary goes, you may have a tough time, but then again, it's Tony Romo throwing. Bledsoe could pick it apart if he can avoid pressure. But Romo will have a tough go throwing on the run at all times.

This game is gonna be determined through the air. Can Romo turn out and throw it around? Or will big D's secondary show up and challenge Delhomme?

I like Jake...don't get me wrong...but he's not exactly fleet of foot either...he's taken some sacks lately that make you wonder....just stands there, and stands there, and stands there...remind you of anyone?

I won't be suprised at the outcome either way...unless the Panthers blow 'em out. that would suprise me.

Assuming there is no Game 7 in the 'Series... I'll be watching and expecting a two TD Panther victory.
