Carl Fils-aime moving back to runnerback

You are dead right here. Him and Byrd came there together for a reason. They are both game day guys and Carlin ended up proving your statement exactly right.

As a fan, it made my night to see him score that touchdown within 3 carries as predicted. It played out on the field the same way I saw it in my head down to the exact number of plays. When I glanced at the post-game stats and saw it was a sum of exactly 3 plays, I thought, bless his heart, he read the expectation on him here, then felt pressured to make it happen and lived up to it! The next thought was wow, he proved he can accomplish success on the field when he puts his mind to it. Imagine what he'll do with more carries. Even if it all just happened to be an uncanny coincidence, it's an exciting sign of more good things to come for Vols' fans!

Thank you for your kind post and letting me know you noticed that. This is where I should do the false humility gesture and downplay it with something like, throw enough spaghetti against the wall and some will stick, or make enough player evaluations and eventually one of your predictions will hit the bullseye. The truth of it though is that Carlin Fils-aime truly is just that good. Credit to CFA for making the most of his opportunity as soon as he got it and credit to the coaches (Coach JP, Coach TH, and Coach CW) for having already seen it and making that move at just the right time of the season for the team. (You're right about Byrd, too. Isn't Byrd the fastest player on the team?)

Now that everyone involved worked together to make me look prophetic Saturday, I'll continue in the flow under the same inspiration and declare a prosperous career ahead for everyone named in this post (players and coaches).

Here's a good slogan for us for the rest of the games this season: "It's Not Hype when You Can Pruitt!" (You know, like the saying it's not hype when you can prove it. lol) Yes, VolNation is blessed with top tier coaches and top tier talent. The corps of talented running backs just happened to be a position group that we noticed shined Saturday because it was still fresh on our minds with CFA's return to the group. Truth be told, there's been all kinds of progress since last season all across the board. It's confidence-inspiring to know we have quality depth at this position where a touchdown can happen as fast as the first couple of a player's carries like Carlin Fils-Aime proved with his touchdown Saturday.
