We could have used Vonn Bell and Trey Johnson but on positive note we will have 6 to 7 more scholarships for next year. We really didn't lose any positions this year that we already have not filled with recruits this year. Next year we was going to be pushed with room for players but now we can sign about 28 to 30 instead of 20 or 21. We are in for alot of big time players next year and CBJ and crew has a full year to establish their relationships with recruits and families. Dooley really really hurt us. Now its time to move forward and win.

Trust me when I say this post occurs every year for the past 6 or 7 years. I sick of waiting for next year. Whether it be next years' season or next years' NSD.

I'm fighting the urge to become a pessimist. I really do want to believe that 2014 is going to be a huge year for us. We've just gotta get it done on the field.

It sucks, but it does mean we can sign a full class next year. If we can win this year, they'll be plenty of room.

yep when you are a tennessee vol there is always next year. one thing i'm pretty sure of is that i've seen tennessee win sec championship for the last time in my lifetime. we are with vandy and UK we have no chance.

Especially with all the UT legacy recruits that will almost certainly be highly rated (Berry twins, Kelly, etc.). If he doesn't, he'll be on the path to being another 3- or 4-and-done coach.

But this "next year" will come with 50K in Neyland.

Champyvol don't get down. We win a national championship about once every 40 years or so. I am pretty sure we will get another by 2040 or so....

good luck ...ut isnt that easy of a sell ...do you wanna come here and lose to vandy or go somewhere else and compete for championships?

Better make your choice now and stick with it no matter what! Most on this board don't give love, they make you earn it!

Looking at next year's schedule...not sure that year's NSD is going to be that much better...
