No disrespect to the kid, I'm happy anytime a kid decides he wants to be a Vol, but we just had a TE commit tonight.

James Brown, Jones, Tight End

No star ranking.

Doesn't have a national ranking.

We plucked him from the arms of Holy Cross, Gardner-Webb, Florida A&M, and Marshall.

Again, not trying to be rude, but that's a pretty hilarious ending to a weekend of Butch showing his true level of mediocrity.

I think this coaching staff have lost the respect of the Offense, the players know if a coach has it or not, and DeBorg does not, Butch will not take accountability for making one of the worst OC hires in the SEC. He does not know how to make men from boys, and they are wilting under the pressure of losing. I can't sit back and watch this crap over and over. I am not a coach, but I know crap when I see it.

speaking of laughing, I wanted to see if their was a trend with Butch Jones and players who transferred schools while was their coach. The first name that came to mind was JJ Watt of course. So after some reading I came across this: "Sure, Watt left CMU for reasons that could be construed as selfish.

But CMU's old coaches were a little selfish as well.

Watt was originally led to believe he would be scoring touchdowns in CMU's offense. Eight catches later, as the 2007 season wrapped up, it became clear the reality was much different." and this: KW: Was there any animosity after you left CMU? I know you were popular with all the players, but did any of the players give you the cold shoulder when you told them you were leaving? What about how the coaches took it?

JJ: The process was filled with a lot of friction. Obviously coaches don’t take it well when they have a freshman who is a starter and he wants to leave. All of the players understood that I wasn’t being utilized to the best of my abilities and they didn’t have a problem with it. All of them understood and saw what I was trying to do. In the end Coach Jones signed my release to Wisconsin so I don’t have any problem with any of the coaches

Both of these came from Fire Up Chips Exclusive: JJ Watt sets the record straight | MLive.com
