They played a great game, especially the offense.

Also can't hate on Bray for trying to make something happen in a dire situation at the end.

This defense is atrocious. Sunseri was not a good hire and installing a hurry-up offense at the same time as revamping a defense was a poor decision by Dooley.

It's one thing to have a confused defense because of a new system. But continuing to execute the hurry-up offense and not giving the defense time to make adjustments during the game and time to rest just doesn't make sense.

I am actually reading Saban's book right now. At one point he says that a coaching staff's greatest responsibility is 'maximizing the potential of the players'. That clearly hasn't happened this year.

Now the question is whether or not Hart can get the donors to put down the cash necessary to make a dynamic hire. I really don't see Kirby Smart or another hot coordinator as the answer. Get a proven coach and pay the man.

Your statement on maximizing the potential of players is exactly why I don't like Dooley. All of that talent on offense, and we can't seem to put it together to win any sort of big ball game.

Yeah, I guess we should just go ahead and suck on both sides of the ball.

Absolutely. Love or Hate Bama all you want, but Saban has gotten it done at the college level. The guy gets that it's about recruiting well-rounded players and coaching them up.

Dooley has recruited well-rounded players, his staff just can't coach them up.

It's a shame. I really want the guy to win.

Florida, Georgia, Bama - all losses that are understandable. They are all fantastic this year.

MSU was one that should've been won - but hey, they are hot.

USC was last straw IMO. I hope Hart fires him soon and we can all move on...assuming he has some decent candidates in mind.

Based on watching this season, I'm pretty convinced that the hurry-up is hurting the defense more than it is helping the offense.

The hurry-up offense is very much a risk-reward scenario, and if it's not working, it's hurting more than helping.

With a weak defense, Hunter's suspect hands, CP's subpar route running, and no proven RB - I think it's fair to say we're not ready for a hurry-up.

We scor a lot of points using the hurry up. If the defense gets off the field, we win big.

I think they're all understandable losses. I just think that in almost 3 years now we should of been able to pull a nice win in there somewhere. He's had some teams on there heels too... LSU, and then FLA this year. But we just can't win a big game.

This is what most of us feel- we have the talent to do some damage, it just hasn't been developed/maximized to its potential. Coaching, plain and simple. Hate it, we didn't roll over today- but our D secondary is worst I think I have ever seen... Pitiful
