Can you imagine what Gator fans will do if they lose to us this year in the swamp?

Can you imagine what they will do? Will they go home and cry? Will they pout? Will they cry like little girls and say we cheated?

Gator fans are the most prideful and arrogant fans around now. I guess they have never studied history and know there has never been one powerhouse to stay at top forever. Even the mighty FSU, Miami, Texas, Oklahoma, Notre Dame Nebraska and a few others eventualy fall.

Funny thing though is they look at us as weak pond scum but if you go to any UT site they seem to hang out there more then their own sites. As a man with a fulltime job I see it as pitiful. I barely have time for this site more or less staying on other rival sites all day. I mean some of them are my dad's age of over 50 years old for God sakes. If I knew my dad was doing that I would be ashamed.

What's funny though is I keep seeing posts like blowout, UF-63, UT-3 but none of those fans will put their money where their mouth is.

Gator fans enjoy this season because no more Teabow next year.

I am sure it's been bandied about on here somewhere, but does anyone think that if Mr. Weis gets himself canned in South Bend this year, that Urban jumps ship for there? I mean, the reason for his success is graduating...it'd be a perfect time to go.

I've heard a lot of speculation about the ND job. I think it's a pretty legit chance that he does bolt for South Bend if/when Weis gets the axe.

It's possible. UF has really scorched us the last 2 years. In '07 they hung 59 on us. Our young team headed to the swamp, with new offensive and defensive schemes will either work or blow up in our face. I don't think there will be any middle ground in that game.

There's no scenario where we'll dominate them with 60+ points. For us to win, we'll have to play flawless football coupled with some players steeping up and making big plays. On the Florida side of the ball, they would have to play very flat to lose to us. Even if the gators play decently, it will be enough to defeat us.

Anyone who thinks we are at all poised to compete in the swamp demonstrates what a homer they are. We'll be playing a back-to-back national champion at nearly full strength!

I'm a Vol Fan, not a Vol Fanboi; there's a difference. I can love the Vols and admit when the deck is stacked against us.

UT 10 UF 27 (if we can run the ball)

i agree with you.we dont have the talent yet to beat them.and you know after the kiffin comments that they definately want to stomp a mud hole in our a$$. but maybe our offense isnt as bad as everbody thinks and it was just the new offense that hinderd us,and with the new staff and new attitude,we will suprise them and shock the world.lol

i'm not sure if the ND job is what it used to be. not that south bend doesn't lack its own brand of history. but, with recruiting great players being harder & harder as time moves forward...the entrance requirements and academic standards at ND were easier to circumvent in the early days versus now. I think that is ND's biggest problem. They can attract big talent, but big talent can't meet their entrance requirements... just a thought

If we were to go into the swamp and get a win this year, it would be much bigger than the loss they had to Ole Miss last year. Tebow would really be whining at the podium wouldn't he?

Don't really know but Weiss has one last shot but he does have another Clawson brother running the ship lolo

Since we're talking about Teebow; if the Gators do 3-peat... how hard is it to NOT give him the Heisman again? I mean, 3 titles???? I know they aren't supposed to judge a player by their body of work, but only by the current season. But, how do you overlook his career if you are a voter?

Why would UM want to go to South Bend in the first place? Don't get me wrong, I would love it if he jumped ship and went there, but I have no clue why he would want to make his life more difficult. He has it made in Gainesville. He can cherrypick the state's best talent, nice weather, etc. etc.

I would love to be the team that sent little urbie to Notre Dame. That would be like Christmas and my birthday all rolled into one. Then if Timmy "the savior" Tebow flopped in the NFL it would be that much better.

I agree with your post. We struggle with depth and talent in some posistions over Florida. I don't expect a win either but if you really look at last years game when we were on the goal line twice but lame play calling and fumbles is what seperated the game. Would of been a whole different game plus our special tems coaching was horrible which cost us also. Just hope that changes.

My point for the thread is by an act of God if we won what would those arrogant fans do? Funny thing though is I bet none of them go to Rebel sites lolol

You're right. Didn't mean to hi-jack your thread. =) What would they do? They'll blame it on officiating. Or claim that Kiffin cheated.

He called ND his dream opportunity within the last few months. Most Gator fans won't even argue that he'd jump if that job comes open and is offered.
