It would literally be the biggest crap show on earth. Programs of relatively good health could literally die over night.

At least with the one transfer limit kids have to think long and hard about it. Otherwise college football would be worse than Tinder dating

In my honest opinion it is still a crap show.

They can still transfer every year. Several in the portal right now who transferred before 2021 season. Going for second time and one for the 6th time

Yea but once you use your one time transfer rule for immediate playing time then the next time after that you gotta sit a year I believe.

if you have graduated, you can appeal for a waiver to play. Not everyone has to sit. Joey Gatewood was granted a waiver to play this year at South Carolina.

It's selfish on your part to not want them to do what's best & turn down life changing money

Yah it sucks for the fans but look at it from the player perspective

But according to many here we should pay them, let them come and go as they please and God forbid we treat them as students and require them to gasp,,,, go to class and actually receive grades.

That will probably be an option in 5 years to skip or just get some certification that they got some none credit courses about life & money skills

The requirement to go to class is okay, restricting the rest wouldn't be. Now, the players could be signed to employment contracts but that setups a whole situation the schools were trying to avoid.

Why the crying for the schools at this point?

There needs to be a cap on how many times a guy can hit the transfer portal. Maybe a one time thing without penalty.

it would be chaos. I am undecided on whether it is good for the game. It certainly bestows additional work for the coaches to keep and recruit signed players. However, it is certainly good for the students, as mobility is always a good bargaining chip for the less powerful in a power disparity.

They can transfer every year. They just get a freebie one time. After that, they have to set out a year.
