There will always be anti or pro discussions for any coach at any school. You are much better off just staying off the message boards if it's getting on your nerves, because it will never end. :)

Realistically, how much would a win against SC this Saturday help in getting some of the negavols off of Dooley's back??? Just your thoughts...

GO VOLS!!!

It would help a lot but it's not going to happen. If it's not one things it's another with this guy. The guy was a special teams coordinator and our special teams suck

I am always Pro UT. I have always been Anti Dooley. The day Hart announces Dools is gone, will be the biggest win of the year for this football program. There will be hope in 2013 folks.

I doubt that we win Saturday, but it would be nice if good things actually happened to us for once. With SC losing back to back games, I don't see them losing three in a row. I just can't believe that we haven't won a single significant game in the SEC in soooo long...it sucks...but...

GO VOLS!!!

Realistically its not going to happen... I know i come off as negative but his history tells me we will not win this game.

2and 30 vs teams with winning record
1 winning coaching season in his history
zero wins agasint ranked teams

I mean come on guys do some research and take off the orange tinted glasses and you will see where this is headed.

Go VOLS! I Bleed Orange all day. It has been a tough stretch. Amazing how bloggers or should I say Fake Coaches in waiting on the blogs fail to realize that Alabama is ranked #1,
Florida is ranked # 3 Georgia at the time we played them were ranked #5 and now they are #12, Miss State is #13 So let's recap. Had Florida on the ropes leading the entire game unitl 3:21 seconds left in 3rd quarter and 3 big plays cost us huge. Lost to GA by a touch down and was driving to win the game or at least tie it up and Tyler tries to make a play and fumbles. Against Miss State down 31 to 34 with 28 seconds left and we needed a stop to get ball back with no time outs and we dont get the stop and they score. We clearly got whooped by Bama. No moral victories.... but I say we have made improvements and showed we can compete with top ranked teams in their back yard. We just now have to put 4 good quarters of offense and defense together in one game and we will win the last 5 games with no worries. Oh, in case you don't know SC is ranked #17. So we played 4 teams in the top 20 and was in every game except Bama. We beat NC State who beat #3 Florida State..... so Hush all the talk about bashing our team. I am sick and tired of it. We talked about teams of the past coaches of the past.. we what about fans of the past who were more loyal and less negative about their UT VOLS!!!! Who supported their teams no matter what? Just saying ..... this is for all the negative comments about coach, about players, about the football program and anyone who say they bleed orange but really don't

I agree WillisVol... Having lost two in a row, and getting a couple of injured players back, I'm afraid USCe is going to be playing with a vengeance on Saturday in order to show that they are better than they showed against Florida. Also, Spurrier has generally, regardless the talent level on his team, found a way to embarrass the Vols.

That being said.. I hope to see an upset Saturday... GO VOLS!!! ><>

.....................

I'm not anti-Dooley, I believe that he is a great guy and a man of high integrity. I also like the way he has run a clean program while at UT. However, I do not believe he is experienced enough to coach a major D1 football program. That being said, I believe, if UT is going to be competitive in the SEC, Dooley needs to be replaced.

Part of what is making threaders sound anti-Dooley is the frustration we VOL fans are experiencing as our team continues to play sloppy football, and lose games who should have won. If we were to defeat USCe and win out the season, I believe some, but certainly not all, of this sentiment would go away.

Now, if that sounds to be anti-Dooley, please accept my sincere apologies, because I do not intend to extend that kind of attitude toward Dooley or anyone else. ><>

if we get off, where do we go?

Go on cheering for the VOLS... just pray for the administration to do the right thing for the program and replace Dooley with an SEC caliber coach. Call, write, and email Dave Hart, Jimmy Cheek, and the Trustees calling for this change to happen. For every letter, call, or email, they consider it to represent about 7 fans. So, the more the better.

I will support these coaches as long as they are at Tennessee...If they leave I will support the next coaches...If everyone will do this we will see an upgrade in recruiting...I can not see for the life of me why, some of you do not understand this! :dunno:

Dooley is done, that's just reality. If a miracle happens(a terrible thought) and he is kept; he will not make it through next season.
