Can We Flip Someone Late?

I know it's the dead period but it looks like we are going to lose Thomas to Clemson, I think we get Sawyers, do we roll with the 34 or is someone out there that we might flip on NSD? I would have loved to have gotten Stankavage, I think that guy is going to be a player for Vandy

for real..the way Kiffin recruited it would have took him 10 years to get 33 recruits that didn't rob someone or get kicked out of school for drugs

Here's what I was thinking, and before anyone jumps all over this, this is just me spit-balling:

34 current commits
Add Sawyers
=35
GS Dews
BS Robertson
=33
Flips to Clemson - Thomas
Academics, pick one - Weatherd/Brown
=31

I think our true number is between 30-32, not counting PWOs. Matches up with everything I've heard. Evan Woodbery thinks it's 31. Of course I'd like to keep all three of Thomas/Weatherd/Brown, but unless we really can take about 35 I don't think the coaches would still be offering guys like Sawyers if they were confident on all three of those.

JMO, IMO, TIFWIW, WTF, KYS, etc.

What!!!!! Don't you read the threads on our commits that aren't 100% solid on the biggest decision of their life? KIDS NOWADAYS NEED TO LEARN WHAT COMMITMENT MEANS!!!!! Why in the world would we dare try to convince a highly talented kid to come to our school instead of a competitor? He's committed people!

Edit: I apologize for this sour sarcasm. I've got alot of homework tonight.

With less than 48 hours to go, I think it is very possible nobody flips. Sawyers may commit and sign with us on NSD. I would like to have him here, but am not holding my breath. I have text alerts set up for NSD, so I can know as each one signs. And I expect it to take a few days before we know the whole story on how the heck Butch made it work.

Where can you go to get text alerts on NSD?
