I think there is truth in this. And hope for UT fans.

Can UT Vols improve fast enough to beat Florida?

You don’t get used to losing when you’re an assistant coach at Alabama as long as he was. Nor do you become accustomed to losing when you’re a defensive coordinator at Florida State and Georgia as Pruitt was.
So, you might have wondered how Pruitt would handle losing as a first-time head coach. You needed only one game to find out.

Pruitt's now at Tennessee, he'll have to get used to many things and unfortunately losing may be one of them........at least this year
The players have gotten used to losing

He might have to endure losing for awhile. God help us if he get's used to it!

Pruitt will be successful here. It may take longer than we want because some of these players who accept losing have to be cycled out but when he gets it rolling it won’t be smoke and mirrors thanks to a dynamic qb. It will be due to him having his own top ranked recruits and we will reload after a good year not rebuild. This staff is top notch.

Wow. Something I was impressed by that article was that he actually owned up to some of his mistakes. No other head coach we have had since Fulmer I recall doing this. At least in the sense that here were some things to be improved upon in his ability to coach.

Improve fast enough to beat FLORIDA..?????
I'm hoping we improve fast enough to give Kentucky a good game, and beat Vandy.

*IF we're going to become truly good, it will take longer than that. My hope is that Florida isn't really good either.
We poorly game planned and were underdeveloped, if UF players were developed well and only game managed poorly, Mullen will have a much easier job.

sunshine pumping article. I agree though, UT has plenty of room to improve, and likely will.
