Alright guys and gals, you knew that this was coming from someone so here it is. What are the chances of tennessee running the table and winning the east? Better yet, elaborate on how you think it will play out or what we have to do to win.Since Florida lost to LSU, who stands in our way to an east title? I personally think it will be extremely tough to win out. Mississippi state, Alabama, South Carolina,Arkansas, and Kentucky are all games that worry me. Miss. St. has a much improved defense and are a better team than years past. Alabama is a game where you throw the records out. South Carolina has Spurrier. Arkansas may run the ball for 500 yards. Kentucky's offense is great but will their defense ever stop us.My guess is that we win all but one of those games and hope for a three way tie in the East.Anyway, I am proud of my Vols but don't want people to forget that getting your team up for one game a year is not enough to keep your job at The University of Tennessee.Let me know how you feel.

Somebody was talking about "controlling their own destiny" earlier this week regarding other schools in the east. Tennessee now controls their own destiny for going to the SEC title game.

that they do... anything can and will happen this year in college football.

A long way to go, but it's always a good feeling to be back in the driver's seat in October. Crow tastes like garbage, but I'll gladly eat it in December if need be.

If we play like we did today every week, there's is no doubt in my mind we run the table. I hope they can bring that intensity every week, but that is a large task.

I was trying to tell you guys that this tennessee team is still for real after the florida loss. Tennessee's remaining schedule is the probabely the most favorable of the SEC east teams...Kentucky, SC, Bama...I really think we can handle SC at HOME...looking at kentucky's defense, i think we can outscore them...Bama is the game that we will have some trouble with in a tough road environment...but who would have thought that florida (who is, IMHO, better than LSU) would open the door for us like this?....

I'm still terrified of mcfadden and jones

Is it possible? Yes Will it happen? It could go either way. If we play like we did today the rest of the season we will be in Atlanta the first of December.

The key component that was in that game today, that was not there in the Fla game especially was intensity. If we can play intense like that, there is no doubt that we have the talent.

NOTE: We have had the talent consistently. We had the talent in 2005, regardless of prevailing opinion. That is why were were preseason #3. The reason I'm worried is we rarely seem to play to our actual talent level, unless we are given a reason to.

they didn't play utc that well today...i'm not too worried

yeah, mcfadden even lost a fumble in the first quarter. utc kept the game that close with 11 total yards passing. antonio miller went 4-22 i believe throwing the ball.

Honestly, the only team I'm still worried about is Kentucky, just because our DB's are so young. That is of course saying that we will play at this level for the rest of the year.

South Carolina is the only one that scares me

I know I'm being pessimistic, but I'll buy into this game fully when I see this game's intensity and results carry over the rest of the season. We certainly have the talent to do it, yes. But we had the talent to make a NC run in 2005, and we know how that ended.

I think we can contain Woodson the same way SCar did and we did with Stafford. Put him under pressure and he won't have the time to make the reads. We still have issues picking up the TE.

C'mon man. We had a big win today. Can't you just be happy and smile for one night? :p

see i thought about that but seriously, SC and Georgia are basically the same team.

I think Georgia has a better Offense. Stafford is better than Smelley, and Georgia has a better tandem at RB. Both O-Lines seem to be suspect. I think SCar does have the edge at WR.
