Okay, sorry for making this thread if its been mentioned elsewhere. Ive been away since friday and I missed the game and didnt have a computer. Id rather not skim through various threads to find the answers im looking for...

How do we look in terms of health against AU?

I know Reveiz is out. What is the status on other players? Vlad, Hancock (I know he is out for AU but I didnt see how long), and others who have been banged up.

I saw Rogan was out for personal problems. Will he be back this week?

Any other news concerning injuries, suspensions, etc would be appreciated.

Thanks VolNation.

The defense was uninspired. Rogan was suspended but is supposed to be back this week. Crompton was, well Crompton. CLK was trying to pass in the 1st half to try and get the passing game going, but the theory was shelved for the running game in the 2nd half. We gave up a 95 yard kick off return, but Chris Walker had a 6 yard pick 6 for the only defensive play of the game. The secondary had to call 911 for the burn unit to come to Neyland as Vinson and a few others got burned bad. The only thing that was consistent, was their inconsistency. I think that sums it up.

During the Lane Kiffin Show, kiffin said that Rogan would be back this weekend.

Yeah, Crompton was terrible. Passed for 222 yards, was 17/34 and had 2 TD passes. Very disappointing. Also, had a tipped pass from a wide reciever that was intercepted. This is really pathetic stats for any QB... (please note sarcsm)

The only bad part in that equation is completion percentage, other than that, a terrific day for Crompton.

uhhh...didnt you guys see teague wide open for a TD but Crompton overthrew him by 15 yards and then crompton handed the ball off to the wrong side buy no one was there, cause crompton went in the wrong direction...not to mention that he fumbled it and ohio ran the ball back for a touchdown, but lucky for crompton that the ohio player had one foot out of bounds we he recovered it. He is not looking any better

Your recollectio is far different than mine. The interception was an awful throw. About half of the incompletions were altogether uncatchable.

THANK YOU! i also just read that OHIO was ranked #8 in pass defense in the country coming into last night. i think those are pretty remarkable number for jon against a talented secondary.

That was not a talented defense in any respect.

50% completion percentage is horrible. the pass that was intercepted seemed to be a bit high and a little behind him. he tried, got hit and it was tipped. also, I'd be interested to know how many completions Crompton had when he had to throw it farther than 10 yards.

a 2-1 TD-INT ratio isn't too hot for a QB either. His TD passes were not impressive. on the 3 yard line and the fade route is the easiest pass to throw. throw it up high to the back corner. it's simple. the hard part if for the WR coming down with it. his 2nd TD pass was a screen to Bryce that he had to throw it maybe 5 yards. it was a great call on 3rd down too when they were bringing the house.

that was a beautiful call. Even better since they had been killing us with the same

I dont know if anyone noticed (may have been just me), but did anyone hear cheers when Crompton threw an incomplete pass??? It was like the crowd was counting their blessings that he didnt throw a pick.

and why we only won by a few. I had to work so I never got to see any highlights. Should I be worried about our Vols not winning by more. Thanks for the help.:hi:
