Can someone explain to me...

I feel the frustration amongst the fans. Everyone is looking for an escape goat. Fact is we knew coming into this season we still didn't have a point guard. What we didn't know was our best player wouldn't play a single minute. Two things we learned. Mc-hang 30 on you at any given time Rae. Stepped up and played awesome at times. He still needs to improve his ball handling skills. When he does look out. And Stokes. Young and still inexperienced coming into his sophomore season learned how to play without Maymon. Now tell me. I know everyone is sick of hearing wait until next season. But does anyone not see the potential for our best team since the elite 8 team. This team should be scary good.

This team is going to the Big Dance next year regardless of whether they get a true PG. But if they DO get a PG, and everybody is healthy and back next year, then it's lights out for the rest of this miserable conference.

Surely you dont want to suffer through another year without a PG regardless of how good the team is.

We beat VCU too. Is that the year they went to the final 4 though? But still my point is. We started the year out strong picking up some good wins. But towards the end of the season we weren't even .500 in the last 10 games. Is the beginning of the season that much more important?

What has killed us the last two years is losing ten games before we come alive. If we had an all freshman team and won 9 of the last ten then we could have probably gotten in.

Pearl had a reputation of being a winner as went to Big Dance every year. Martin has no reputation and has never been.
