A buddy of mine just told me that Peters called Dooley to discuss his decision and Dooley told him he should follow his heart and that UT is fine without him. Basically Dooley told him we don't want him.

I find this hard to believe, Dooley has always been mature and this just sounds childish.

Seriously, though, I highly doubt Dooley told a 4 star Linebacker that we didn't need him. A little common sense should answer your question.

I think he's found the keys to his daddy's liquor cabinet even though he's in his 30s.

The only way your buddy heard nonsense like that is if he was on a 3 way call with Dooley and peters.

I can not confirm or deny whether Dooley likes peters or not. Rumor has it that Arkansas is good at pulling peters. Not sure if true.

A recent recruit indicates that Arkansas and Ok State has told recruits that Dooley was going to be fired. You can bet Peters heard the same thing from them. The recruit says he didnt buy their BS. Signed with TN. Peters may do the same if Hart assures him that Dooley has some time to turn this around.

This post is just ridiculous.

My concern is that UT fills positions of need. As long as that is done, then wonderful.

I don't see Dooley going anywhere. I think he gets another year after this one.

the leap to "Dooley didn't want him" was flabbergasting. How in the hell did you get there?

There is no way to confirm or deny that happened.
I can see Dooley saying follow your heart. The rest is prob changed by a little bit by every "buddy" that passes the rumor fwd.
He may have said if you want to sign with arky that's fine, as long as it is your decision and you are following your heart.
There is no way in heck he told him we don't want him.
Get a clue.
