Can send a man to the moon, but can't...

First, I'll take the J.J. win however they can get them. As far as the race, if someone could invent a machine (like the jet driers) that could seal coat the track in rubber, that would be cool. I know that track holds a lot of history but it was designed for open wheel cars. I know the drivers like going there for the prestige but as a fan I would be content with NASCAR leaving Indy. I know that won't happen so I hope they get this fixed for 2009.

I don't blame the track - it was made for Indy Cars and I also agree that I would be happy if NASCAR left Indy. I'm sure I'm not in the majority on that but I think I'd enjoy it much more if the Cup guys ran at Iowa this weekend of the year or Montreal or even the Edmonton track the Indy Cars ran on this weekend. Heck, I'd really dig it if they ran ORP instead of Indy - that track puts on a great show everytime.

I agree ORP puts on a good race, but I don't think we will see NASCAR add any more short tracks to their schedule. That is a shame. Any additions are for market placing, not quality of track, as has been mostly the case lately.
