Can Crompton Turn It Around Next Year?

I can't think of any college at any division level who would start a QB in his senior year that has not learned the basic art of not staring down your target.

Crompton was developing nicely under Cut. He played very well in place of Ainge when he came into the game. Look what he did against LSU in Knoxville a couple of years ago. Coach Clauson (sp?) got into his head and ruined him. The first day he said, 'I don't expect too much from my quarterbacks, other than for them to be perfect.' That's the last thing you should tell a player, especially one who is starting in the SEC as a quarterback for the first time. Hopefully the next QB coach doesn't put so much pressure on him to perform, and just lets him play the game. He has the physical ability (except when he runs the ball) :)

Well, how good he was against can be(and has)debated. With those receivers, he threw some balls up, and they came down with them, he also missed alot of open receivers, then the next week against Ark, he was horrid, but he did take a beating that week to be fair.
