Can CPF withstand the outcry at this point?

I am particularly interested in hearing from those on or around the campus as to whether the support for a change is so overwhelming that it is impossible to ignore. I have a hard time seeing a change get made in mid-season, but on the other hand it does seem that the concensus is building and another bad loss will just be too much for the university to bear and keep its collective head down, plugging forward.

What are the odds that some action will be taken before the season is over?

I still think it depends on his record at the end of the year. I say if he beats UGA and Bama he will be fine. Now if he goes 6-6 that could be a different story.

I think the chances of anything going down before season's end is 0%. Its just not the way Hamilton is going to go about it. If we lose every game from here on out, nothing would happen during the season.

i still find it hard to believe that he gets "fired" at all.

i still think it would take a 3-4 win season for it even be a realistic option.

right now, it's just a very frustrated fan base venting profusely, of which no resolution will come until a) we beat FL and win an SEC title or b) really have an apocolypitic end to this season where we lose 7+ games.

Dude you just get to have your cake and eat it too.Are you finding any of this amusing.Florida run the score up there at the end to say come here recruits we are great and they suck.Yeah classy move on urby's part.Just remember what comes around goes around. He looks like a arrogant prick by the way.I've also heard he was.Now as for CPF around campus .I'am not there, but i bet its not all smiles and cheers.Your team's going to get some of what they gave back.I hope lsu implants teebow's head so hard in the ground he looks like a austrich when they are through with him.

Public sentiment will affect this decision only to the degree that it may reflect the sentiment of the biggest boosters/board members. For with the power is where the decision to move forward will most certainly come.

Change mid season? You won't be fortunate enough to get to claim that your win accomplished that. Change will come. And sooner rather than later. It will be orderly and respectful. But it must, and will, come. Somewhere after the season.

Thanks, guys. You know your admin folks much better than I do.

I agree, by the way, that if he beats 'bama and UGA then a lot of pressure will be off of him. If you can finish in the top 2 in the SECE, that would also probably do it.

Right now, it is impossible to envision UT winning the SECE, but its not mathematically over with. Remember that we have to go to LSU. We throw in a clunker somewhere along the way, or get beat by SoCar, you actually control your own destiny.

I'm just really not sure if he can survive at this point. There is no arguement that can be made by anyone in support for him.

Best case senario would be for him to announce his retirement in public or private to MH so we can start putting out the feelers now so it will affect recruiting as little as possible.

I shudder to think what LSU would do to us in the SEC Championship game.

As much as I want a new coach, I think it would be a mistake to try and do something midseason. I don't see anything good coming from that. Plus I think Fulmer deserves the opportunity to leave with some dignity since he has done a lot for the program (even though it doesn't feel like it right now).

Fulmer might be asked to step down and Cutcliffe named interim coach if things don't turn around this season. Hamilton has time to find a replacement then.

i think after 3 games, we have a pretty good idea.

if there's a silver lining, i don't think we'll have to worry about it.

the worst thing you can do is give a person hope where there is none.

I am looking forward now to the game at Baton Rouge next month. I want to see where we really are. I really though they were better than us last year, but we got a ton of breaks and they played poorly. The only way we beat them this year at their house is to actually be the better team. Its possible, though I agree not probable.

I just know that on campus at UF, during the Zook era, the sentiment for his departure was palpable. Discussion was not whether he would leave, but who to hire.

humility is never going to be the strong suit of a victorious SEC fan, but is impossible on the heels of a smackdown like Saturday's

I'm simply not in a position to argue with you on that. I think the other guy was a little bit harsh, but I expected some people to see any post by a Gator fan on this board, regardless of its merit, to be rubbing it in.

Kinda like the 70 points we hung on La Tech? Don't forget we let UF run it up!

I am looking forward to this game. I really enjoy watching good teams play. What time is kickoff?
