After watching him yesterday there is no longer any doubt in my mind that he is the best CB in the SEC and quite possibly all of CFB.

I have been a Die Hard Vol for 24 years and in that time I have never seen a CB as dominate as he is at this stage of his career.

We better enjoy him while we got him Nation. This kid is truly One of a Kind.

Can't wait to see him cover Treadwell and Cooper. That will be a show to watch! Sutton is a play maker!

Hard to believe he was a no name 3* recruit. Cannot believe how game ready he seemed to be upon getting here.

I loved how he was pissed at himself for not coming down with a one handed INT yesterday instead of just batting the pass down. He saved a TD on that play and looked like he jumped out 10 feet in the air.

He is a future 1st rounder for any team that desperately needs a corner.

Cam is no doubt the best corner we have had in some time. Jason Allen was a solid corner for The Big Orange, but I can't think of a corner that has been more "shut down" that Cam Sutton.

It seems as if he hardly even gives up a completion.

Not only skilled at defending the pass, but can flat lay the wood to the ball carrier. All-American in the very near future.

Terry McDaniel, Jonathan Wade, Dwayne Goodrich, Roland James to name a few of past CB greats

I saw he was mad at himself, but I was in awe that he broke the pass up. I thought it was a TD all the way until Cam shut it down.

And to think the same posters who now want Bajakian fired at this point last year wanted Jancek fired.

I haven't called for anyone's job, but I think there is a night and day difference in the job done by Jancek year 1 to 2 compared to Bajakian. Our defense has been lights out and would have completely shut out Florida if the offense moved the ball just a little to give the D some rest...and it's been that way all year, even in the games we won big. When a team punts 7-9 times a game...that means your offense sucks, and we have, every game.

Good post! Yeah we've had some darn good safeties but I've not seen as good a corner here since I've been watching. Terry McDaniels was real good but just caught the tail end of his career. Terry Fair was good too but I think Cam is better.

CS got beat bad on that out and up. Had the speed/athleticism to recover and make that play. Thanks to Driskel's lame duck throw which was 4 yards short that is.

What is crazy @that play is that we called deep ball on play 1 while watching on TV. Driskel had the strangest grin/smirk on his face while he stood there waiting for the refs to start from the time out. It was like he was excited about the upcoming play. If he was worth a crap, it would have been a 90yd TD.

Anybody else notice that?

Hes definitely a shut down corner! One of the best we've had at the position in a very long time. I cant wait to see him and our young defense next yr after they get more SEC experience!

He has the ability to shut down his side of the field, it doesnt matter who he is covering. They get taken out of the play. Its very rare that a player can do that by himself. We need to enjoy him while we have him.
