...but I am proud of our team AND our coaches. This game was a war as most Bama UT games are. We played hard enough and had a game plan that could have won. We made too many mistakes. My hat goes off to the D and especially K. Simon. He gave his all for Tennessee today and I can't ask for any more. Bama made fewer mistakes and won the game but they knew they were in a war tonight. We did not roll over and we never quit. We did not get outplayed but one team had to lose. Congrats to Bama, it was their turn.

C. Anderson will have many more great plays as a Vol and so will Lucas Taylor. I support them both 100%.

I can live with a loss when I think we had a chance to win and left it all on the field. Today I am still proud to be a Tennessee Volunteer. Tomorrow I will wear my orange proudly.

I have been through the full range of emotions tonight.

I agree freak, and I DON'T think you're crazy. Just a little chemically imbalanced.

hell, most of us a vols fans for life. if we were 0-6 we would still root for them. this season has just been so frustrating that alot of emotions and negativity come out. and we had all these great expectations and they turned to mush really fast.

it really is painful to be a vol at this moment. but look on the bright side. our season is not as bad as oklahoma's has been. baylor took them to overtime.

but if we lose again then it is gonna get ugly.

we will see if notre dame is for real. or if the sec is just the greatest conference of all time. and we are getting pounded for our incredibly stupid schedule.

You guys give me some faith and hope. I have lost some since saturday night. I can't stand losing to Bama. I now can't imagine losing to Spurrier. We got to get a win this weekend. I hope that the stadium is rocking sat. night. Still bummed after sat. night. Need my orange glasses, lost them in the cussing fury after the last fumble. Stupid cussing fury. :banghead:

I feel like someone just ran over my dog. When does this feeling go away?

Ok, after my "I feel sorry for my self" drinking adventure on Saturday night, I have finally calmed down. I have to agree with freak. Well, I don't feel the same about Anderson, but everything else I am with you. Gotta agree with CC as well, ill be there hootin and hollerin every time they take the field. Not as bad as the bird flu, but Volitis is close to it.

"When does this feeling go away? "

It doesn't. But it does get folded in with all the other painful as well as great memories of Volunteer football season's past. Then, when the BigOrange rises up for that next championship season, all those good and bad memories get to be released in one joyous ovation. It is the good, and the bad, that make the championship moments all the more special. I'll never forget the flood of emotions I felt when the clock read :00 on our '98 season.

This is a painful season. We shall endure.

GO VOLS!!! KEEP FIGHTING!!!
