And after they beat UT, I think a few people guaranteed they made the championship. :eek:lol:

They aren't that good. It's just UT looks terrible against teams that spread the field. Cal, Alabama, Florida, etc.

stop this thread it makes me sad. The only only negative comment made by a LSU Tiger was "how could you lose to CAL"?I told him"I dont know man"

I think Cal has a good team but after that Oregan State Loss they never recovered. Kind of reminds me of what happened to Bama after Miss State.

Sorry, I'm an idiot. When I posted this the link I was reading said they didn't make a bowl.

Maybe it said they shouldn't have. Anyhoo...they only won what, 6 games?

Except we didn't start off the season great by beating a top 25 team soundly, didn't make a bowl, and didn't have a qb worth a crap.

We beat LSU early in 2005. That's probably the best team we've beaten in at least three years.

Do you really expect AF to win?

Since you followed Cal all year, I am curious as to what went wrong? All start with the Oregon State game? Were there injuries or other reasons, or did the team simply lose a couple, quit, and go in tank?

I never thought they were as good as we made them look, but expected them to win more than 6 games.
